This course provides the tools required to troubleshoot and maintain a tag-based PLC system using the Logix PLC platform. Learn how to troubleshoot
ladder logic using the Logix software to isolate faulty input and output field devices. A detailed lecture with hands-on labs will be presented
involving various input/output devices that are hard-wired to the PLC (ie: proximity switches, contactors, etc.).
Next Learn how to read and troubleshoot PLC-based ladder logic, recognize and understand basic bit bype instructions, as well as timer/counter,
comparison and math instructions. Throughout the course, numerous labs will be given to reinforce the lecture subject matter.
This is an excellent primer course for those planning on taking the Rockwell Automation Logix courses.
